Create & Connect Adult Focus - Artful Affirmations

We invite you to join us for this month’s Create & Connect event with an adult focus* which is on the topic of artful affirmations. This is an amalgamated event combining elements of a Bush Magic moon circle event with one of the Social Nexus Create & Connect style events.

We will join in circle with tea and a release ceremony where we let go of any limiting beliefs or fears holding you back go. After a release, we will move to mixing the arty and magical and use water colours, stencils and other art supplies to create beautiful backdrops. Joining again in circle, we will support each other to flip the limiting beliefs into affirmational statements which we will add to our art. Creating an artful affirmation for you to take home with you and help you maintain your centre of pou/inner strength as the new year ramps into full gear.

Refreshments and light snacks included.

*Create & Connect events are held monthly, once with a whanau focus and once with an adult focus. For adult focus events, we can accommodate accompanying children in a close by but separate space. As solo mama ourselves we know how difficult it can be to make time for ourselves around childcare, we have created an opportunity for adults to explore creative expression & community which allows for whānau accessibility for all. Ultimately your kids are your responsibility & you may be called on to assist with supervision if support is required. Please bring snacks for your children.
